Atlanta-based artist and crafter Rodger Thomas creates strange but beautiful lighting projects that are made with up-cycled vintage appliances and knick-knacks.
His imaginative designs are statement-making pieces that turn ordinary objects into intriguing lighting options—for instance, a flask, a lunchbox and a light-bulb are cleverly arranged to create a rocket-themed lamp.
Our favorites would have to be the “levitating” pieces, where the artist creates the illusion that the lamps are floating.
