Pigs wallow and roll around in mud not because they are naturally filthy animals, but that doing so helps to keep their core temperature down as they have no sweat glands.
Pig farmers often have a mud bath for their animals but one creative farmer in the Netherlands thought it will be cool to build a water slide for them as well.
The bright yellow water slide is located right at the edge of the mud bath and allows the pigs to glide down and splash into the cooling mud—we believe that coming down a slide is every bit as fun for pigs as for humans.
We do wonder if the pigs get on the slide by themselves—it will be great to be able to watch a video of this.
