
Following up on its two funny TV spots for the ‘Vancouver Police Foundation’ campaign, ad agency DDB Canada has come up with two posters.
The typographic posters visually depict the shape of a badge, and aim to get viewers to support the police by purchasing a pair of iconic, mirror aviator sunglasses for themselves.
The ads cleverly explain that viewers can look good while supporting the police, with statements about the eyewear that read: “Like the Police, they’ll protect you. Unlike the Police, it’s mostly against crow’s feet,” and “If looks could kill, we wouldn’t be selling these glasses. We’re against that kind of thing.”
