UK-based creative collective HangFire started the ‘Hanger One Project’, where participating artists paint on airplanes to turn these mighty flying machines into art.
In the second instalment of the series, graffiti artists Sat One and Roids take on the challenge of spray-painting an entire Boeing 737, an enormous aircraft with a curved aluminum body that is difficult to paint on.
To make the task even harder, the pair had to brave adverse weather conditions, while fighting sleep deprivation as they work night and day on the project.
Designer Gavin Strange has produced a short film that documents the whole process—watch it below to see if the final result was worth all that hard work.
