Just like the workspaces of these famous creatives, the workspaces of influential designers bloggers can be very inspiring.

To accompany its feature of design bloggers in its September 2013 issue, Dwell magazine has asked these online writers to send in snapshots of their workspaces with little blurbs about what inspires them.

From a cozy little nook in a Brooklyn apartment to a coffee shop in Cologne, Germany, these workspaces of the digital age have unexpected similarities—for instance, almost all of them are uncluttered and sparse, occupied by little more than a laptop and a notebook.

These images and their accompanying text not only unwittingly reflect the style of people who work on the internet—minimalist and mobile—but also provide interesting insight into the lives of the design bloggers and their sources of inspiration.
