A couple of months ago, Lucasfilm announced that it will be producing a new Star Wars animation series titled Star Wars Rebels, but little information was released about it then.
A few days ago, executive producer Dave Filoni unveiled the new series’ unique logo and selected artworks at the Star Wars Celebration Europe event.
Other than giving us a sneak peek at the new ship “Ghost”, which is to be the main character’s ship, Filoni also showcased computer rendering of a Star Destroyer’s interiors and more.
The new logo has an orange and black color scheme that is reminiscent of the flight suit colors of Rebel pilots in the original Star Wars trilogy.
Star Wars Rebels is set to premiere in the fall of 2014 as a special one-hour telecast on Disney Channel.
