Zaha Hadid is a world-famous architect with renowned projects to her name, all over the world.
Nevertheless, the similarly famous New York City has yet to have a Hadid-designed structure, erected.
This is about to change, with a recently commissioned project by developer Related Companies. They have tasked Hadid to design an 11-story luxury apartment complex right next to the popular High Line Park.
The building will largely feature glass and steel and "curved modules that are stacked on top of each other", so as to create 37 separate apartments that will make up the bulk of the whole project.
The rooms in these apartments will have "integrated technology" and impressive 11-foot-high ceilings. Some owners will also enjoy their own private elevators, along with "a rooftop deck, community garden, private courtyard, and indoor pool and spa."
