YouTube user Mike Mika has hacked the Nintendo arcade classic—Donkey Kong—to allow his daughter to play the game as the female character, Pauline.
The character Pauline was originally the damsel in distress waiting to be saved by Mario—when Mike Mika’s daughter asked him if she could play as that character, Mike Mika set about hacking the game to replacing Mario with Pauline.
In the modified game, Mario is the one waiting to be saved, while Pauline is the heroine who jumps through the obstacles to be reunited with Mario.
