Based in New York, photographer Nir Arieli’s photographs capture the dynamism of dancers.
Called ‘Tension’, this series of photographs are made by layering several shots of dancers on top of another, giving the viewer a break down of movement.
These movements are not choreographed and are performed spontaneously, with the photographer finding the perfect combination by layering his images.
Although he’s not a dancer, even Ariela professes that he feels engaged while looking at his work.
