Inspired by the idea that all of humanity was once cosmic stardust, artist Sergio Albiac has embarked on an interactive creative project to create human faces within the backdrop of space.
Users can upload a photo of themselves onto Google Drive, with Albiac using software to create these “generative portraits”.
Aptly called “Stardust”, this series is also an experiment to see if humanity’s creativity can stand the test of time.
At the end of this project, the artist will exhibit all these portraits together.
