YouSendIt Introduces New Name, Logo

File sending service, formerly named ‘YouSendIt’, has changed its name to ‘Hightail’.

The change aims to excel over “a landscape of Boxes, Syncs and Shares alongside an audaciously elegant look that contrasts with the endless dreary blues of the cloud space,” according to a blog post written by CEO Brad Carlinghouse.

Though a new identity has been revealed, what the company offers predominantly remains the same: as “an easy and secure way to access and share files and folders on any device, anywhere, while fitting in with how you already work and giving you complete control of your valuable information.”

While there is no indication of a change in its core offering, Carlinghouse has mentioned that the company has got “big plans to truly transform the world of digital sharing with ideas so exciting and innovative they needed a brand to match.”
