Photographer Greg Girard has spent most of his career in Asia photographing what most tourists do not get to see.
In this series, Girard has taken striking photos of residents in Hong Kong’s famous Kowloon Walled City, where many people live in cramped spaces.
These photographs show how Hong Kong’s citizens go about their daily lives, despite having little space to live in.
While this series chronicles the daily life of Kowloon’s inhabitants, the photographer shows how little is done to manage Hong Kong’s problems related to population density.
