Almost anything can be made out of LEGO bricks—but who would think that a giant sushi would make the list?
The very large 'sushi roll' here was 'rolled' for a competition on Flickr, inspired by the 'Iron Chef America' show, aptly called the 'Iron Builder'.
The competitors were given a "batch of secret ingredients parts". In this instance, the "Bionicle Tridax Pod Half" were the 'ingredients' of choice.
Specifically, this gigantic sushi roll submitted by participant Siercon & Coral is made up of LEGO bricks and the 'seaweed' surrounding it is made of "blacktron baseplates". The 'seaweed' then keeps the sushi 'rice'—made up of loose white LEGO bricks—in place.
