Spirit company Death’s Door takes its name from the area located between Washington Island and Door County Peninsula, where many ships have sunk due to bad weather conditions.
Inspired by its history, Brian Baclig designed a set of liquor bottles to reflect these gruesome legends, even going as far to call these alcoholic beverages “Corpse Revivers”.
Using tribal motifs to allude to American history, Baclig manages to deftly incorporate these legends into the brand’s identity.
