UK-based visual artist Kyle Lambert received inspiration for his ‘Toy Shining’ series after discovering Lee Unkrich’s (director of ‘Toy Story 3’) love of ‘The Shining’. Having recently watched both ‘The Shining’ and ‘Toy Story 3’ for the first time, Lambert thought it would be fun to create a mash-up of both movies as a side project.
Using only an iPad, Lambert painted iconic scenes from ‘The Shining’ with ‘Toy Story’ characters. The whole process took around 2 months from start to finish.
