For its latest campaign ‘People For Smarter Cities’, IBM wanted to create solutions to help cities around the world to get smarter and make life better for city dwellers.
Together with Ogilvy Paris, they created a series of smart outdoor advertisements that served a secondary purpose.
By adding a simple curve to their ads, they “gave advertising a new function”, in the form of a bench, shelter and ramp for city dwellers.
According to the video’s description, IBM and Ogilvy will be working together “to spark positive change” and “unite city leaders and forward-thinking citizens”.
