Domino’s Pizza has an awesome new delivery method—delivering delicious hot pizzas by remote-controlled helicopter.
The ‘DomiCopter’ is able to carry pizzas in a specially adapted compartment that will keep the pizza warm while avoiding traffic by flying hundreds of meters above ground.
Simon Wallis, the sales and marketing director at Domino’s said, “At Dominos we’re always looking to innovate and find new ways to deliver our pizza and a DomiCopter could fit the bill perfectly”.
“What better way to totally avoid the traffic than to fly - if anything this will now make us even quicker! We think it's a great way to reinforce that Domino's go to more lengths than anyone to deliver great pizza”.
Although Domino’s said that it might start a “flight academy for the ‘copters should the delivery service take off”, the whole thing seems like just a publicity stunt, albeit a very cool one.
