Hailing from Brazil, the Campana Brothers have created a furniture collection that transforms rooms into underwater landscapes.
The team was inspired by sushi and they started by first making pendant and wall mirrors, framed with rubber carpet and felt.
The cabinets and stool were designed later and the entire series was called ‘Ocean Collection’, reflecting the mood of the series.
Each mirror is a metaphor for another, distant reality, while the blues and greens capture the calming quality of the ocean.
Part installation, part furniture design, this immersive exhibit definitely captures the experience of living in an undersea paradise.
