Apple recently released a brand new 16GB iPod Touch a few days ago, without much fanfare.
Some interesting things to note would be that the latest Touch no longer has a camera or the support for Apple's loop wrist strap, unlike the older version.
The launch also spells Apple's decision to discontinue offering the fourth-generation iPod touch.
On another note, the latest addition to the iPod family features some unique external redesign, sporting a fresh color scheme comprising of a black front and silver backing.
The new Touch starts at US$229 for the 16 GB model and $299/399 for the 32/64 GB models respectively.
