UK art collective Shift/Delete took it upon themselves to reintepret the phallic-looking Gherkin building in London as a penis, and projected a virtual hand onto the building, like it was masturbating.

This installation is the ‘Act of Parliament’. By using a large-scale projection to project a virtual hand onto the building that houses several financial companies, the artists want to make a giant political statement against government protection of the banking industry.

With this piece, the art group aims to tell the government to 'stop stroking the financial industry'.
