One of the first things you learn at cooking school is how to use a knife.
As such, for culinary school Carulla, creative agency Ogilvy & Mather Bogota, Colombia, created a cookbook that aims to improve its users’ cutting skills.
Aptly entitled ‘Slice A Recipe’, the unique learning tool was give to students as a “special introductory cookbook”.
To see the recipes inside, readers had to follow the thin cutting lines marked on fore-edge of the book, and literally cut the book apart page by page.
With each slice of a page, the students gradually improved their cutting skills and revealed what the book had in store.
