For all you Star Wars fans out there, YouTuber Styropyro may have just brought us one step closer to having an actual lightsaber.
Also known as ‘The DIY Laser Guy’, Styropyro has created an extremely powerful blue laser from a 9mm 450nm laser diode and a custom machined host.
The laser is strong enough to shoot through cardboard and instantly set fire to paper, table-tennis balls and even wooden splints.
